roberto delgado
- latino dancing (1968)
....................

....................

ok, i have to admit, i am having a roberto delgado moment. it's been a while since i bonded with my lounge records and after ripping "fiesta" the otherday, i have found myself craving more. so here's "latino dancing," which i'm assuming is from 1968 as i see that imprinted on the vinyl. there's no other date on the sleeve or label.
this album contains "batucada," used by the karminsky brothers on espresso, espresso (god bless them for that marvellous compilation,) and several other hot dance numbers. my personal favourite is "acapulco zephyr" which simply kicks ass!
NOTE: just seen that most of these tracks have been compiled onto a remaster - see lounge legends for details -> http://loungelegends.blogspot.com/2007/11/roberto-delgado-twenty-classic.html
....................

01 - mas que nada
02 - this guy's in love with you
03 - soul limbo
04 - cuando sali de cuba
05 - acapulco zephyr
06 - batucada
07 - grazing in the grass
08 - the look of love
09 - up cherry street
10 - brazilian afternoon
11 - peru
12 - summer samba

Very tasty selections Detour! And some old friends listed here too.

Would love to swap links and keep the eaZy vibes flowing and if you'd rather not be bothered, that's A-ok too.

thanks for alerting me to your pad - great site you have! i can't believe how much good music is out for the collecting. thanks for the link swap - adding without permission feels sorta naughty in a not-so-good way, so call me a boyscout, but i wait for permission ;).
enjoy, david.
