this is probably my favourite werner muller record. it's chaotic and crazy and high latin style. the production reminds me of the first inflight compilation, and if there'd ever been another espresso, i would've campaigned for several of the tracks off this gem of a record!
tracks that are sh**-hot dancefloor ready include "cumana," "el cumbanchero," and "mambo jambo"! "light me fire" is also a great version of the rather under-covered doors classic. this record would have to be in my desert-island / tropical-island survival pack, no doubt about it.

I agree with you 100% detour. This is also my favourite WM album. Well produced, well arranged...and of course well played by Werner Muller. I remember buying this album, and I played it day after day for about 2 weeks. Unfortunately, the CD reissue of Latin Spendor / On The Move does not stay with the original album track listing. Nice to hear it again in its original format. Thanks

hey john, glad to see you around! i've just gotten a new pro-ject debut iii and this was the first rip - is the quality ok? for me the higher brass sounds are too much, almost abbrasive. what do you think? i'll keep on ripping and the settings change so hopefully i can settle on some settings soon. thanks for stopping buy. you're an honorary south africa - werner muller indeed!
Thank you for sharing the WM. They are all wonderful sounding, as have all of your albums. I've really enjoyed them, especially the Axel Stordahl. After hearing some of the earlier ones, i'm quite intrigued with 'The Latin Splendor', however the link is dead. I don't know whether you were aware of this. Would you be willing to repost it?
